As a Gestalt Pastoral Care Minister, I am pleased to host Opening to Grace Retreats.
Each retreat offers two ways to encounter Gestalt Pastoral Care; one is as a Full Worker, who receives the focused attention for about an hour; with the safe and confidential group supporting them. Or you can register as an Observer/Intercessor and support the Full Worker with prayer and some feedback. Observer/Intercessors receive some benefit as well—and this is an opportunity to discover what GPC is all about.
Each retreat is opened to three Full Workers and four Observer/Intercessors.

Is there a "stuck" place in your story?
We all have a story, and most of us have a place in our story that is unresolved —where we may be “stuck”. Opening to Grace retreats offer Full Workers a time, bathed in prayer, to gently and effectively revisit and heal those places. Neuroscience now shows that we hold unresolved trauma in our bodies, and if we have compassionate and wise witnesses and guidance we can actually heal and “detoxify” trauma, leading to more personal freedom and joy. Gestalt Pastoral Care has now been scientifically validated and proven as an effective way to deal with anxiety, depression, and trauma.
